Deforestation

How many trees do you think is going? Here's some:  2.4 acres of trees are cut down every second. That's the size of two football fields! 78 million acres disappear every year. That's an area larger than Poland! 137 species die out every day. 137 * 367= ~50,000. Did you know that 16% of the world is covered by rainforests? Yep! Now only 6% does. More than 20% of the rainforests in the world is gone now.
